We are optimists
We know there are many disturbing trends on amiiko but we are optimists about the possibilities to change them. And just to be clear: we are not “saved souls” who do everything right and live off green tea and bark soup. We do what we can to only buy organic and fairtrade products, and avoid bad chemicals. We have not always done this, but the more we learn about it, the more important it becomes for us.
Thank you
We have benefitted tremendously from other people.
- Dirk Fokken has worked with us to get the app up and running
- Laust Ruud Jacobsen is a freelance programmer who is Karsten’s mentor in Ruby on Rails, and who has helped to build the foundation of the site. Learn more here.
- Bastien Vaucher has taken time out to answer many of our technical questions.
- Besides, many of our friends and family members and friends have provided us with feedback and ideas which we have highly appreciated.
